Hue moved ahead into Route 3 and found the perfect spot to train for the tournament. As he trained a man with red hair and a baseball cap approached him. "Hey, you're in the tournament aren't you?" The man asked curiously. Hue nodded in reply. "Cool! So am I! My name's Steve, see ya there!" He said smiling and running off.  It was mid afternoon and Hue entered the amazingly flashy Rokkavouz City. He was totally shocked by how big a city could be since he had never travelled past Route 1. The first thing he noticed was a big flashy booth with neon lights that read "WOLVER" on them. Hue remembered his vouchers and rushed over to the booth. The lady at the counter asked Hue a few personality testing questions and asked for his Pokemon. He gave them to her and they were quickly scanned through a conveyor belt. Hue had made it into the heart of Route 2, super excited to try out his new companion. A woman with a brown vest and straight red hair ran by Hue directly in his path. "You're a trainer aren't you?  It's time for a battle kid! The women yelled at Hue not letting him answer the question. "Alright, I'm Amy, and I plan to take you down!" Amy threw a common red and white Pokeball and released a small Pokemon Hue used to see on the shore known as an Azurill. Hue almost laughed because he and Seth used to throw rocks at them and they didn't fight back. Hue decided to lead with his always energetic Poochyena, who was just as ready as he always was.

The man had shaggy blonde hair and a black headband with a Pokeball on it in white. "Good job Heracross. Exactly what I wanted you to do." Hue desperately ran after Seth towards Higaki Town, he knew if he was attacked he could also be seriously injured. Suddenly a swarm of Pidgey flew towards his head. Hue had given up, and was out of energy. He slumped onto the ground and covered his head. Suddenly, Hue heard the cry of a different bird, one he never heard before; "Skarrr!" As soon as Hue looked up he saw 5 Pidgey on the ground wounded near death along with the shape of a large bird being taken in to a blue and red Pokeball by a tall standing figure.
